The Forum (and the Colosseum, because one ticket gets you into both) is hands-down the best thing in Rome. If I had one day, and could only enter one site, it would be the Forum. This place was thriving over 1000 years before anyone even thought "Hey, maybe if we take these big boats and sail west, we'll find our way to India or China!"

I wish the FINA World Swimming Championships countdown read 0 days, 0 hours 0 minutes and 0 seconds. If you missed it on TV, the meet taught us four valuable lessons: 1. Polyurethane suits are ruining the sport. 2. Michael Phelps is human. 3. Michael Phelps is not human. 4. Milorad Cavic is a massive tool.
