Turkey Talk

My actual Thanksgiving was like your typical Thursday.  I ate pizza and drank an 11% beer with a few friends.  How festive.  On the other hand, my pseudo-Thanksgiving was amazing.  On Friday, a bunch (like 30+) assistants of all nationalities had a huge dinner.  Very, very tasty.

My dinner!  It's got all the essentials: turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, bread & cheese, deviled egg, raw carrots and cranberry sauce (buried somewhere under the turkey).  Not pictured: cherry crêpe, mirabelle/peach pie.

I'm thankful for a lot of things: my fam, my friends, my friends who are pretty much family, my pets, my health, the French government (despite the frequent headaches, they allowed me to return), my students, my colleagues, the television show LOST.  Lastly, I'm thankful that no matter what roads I take in life, there's always one that will lead back home.
